CareBond SA handles your personal data carefully, in compliance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nLPD) and international best practices. This policy describes what we collect on this marketing site, why, and what rights you have.
1. Data controller
The controller of personal data collected via carebond.ch is CareBond SA, based in Geneva, Switzerland. For any question about your data, write to us at contact@carebond.ch.
2. Data collected
We collect only the data you voluntarily provide via the contact form: full name, professional email address, name of your institution, type of facility (nursing home, home care, hospital, clinic, other) and the content of your message. We do not collect advertising identifiers, nor browser fingerprints. The site contains no third-party tracking cookies.
3. Purposes
Your data is used exclusively to respond to your demo or information request, schedule a conversation, and where appropriate prepare a personalized quote. We do not use it for automated marketing or profiling.
4. Legal basis
Processing of your data is based on your explicit consent (voluntary form submission) and on our legitimate interest in responding to your business inquiry, in accordance with the nLPD.
5. Recipients and processors
Your data is accessible only to CareBond SA's internal team. We use two technical processors: (a) Vercel Inc. for site hosting (fra1 region, Frankfurt, EU); (b) Resend Inc. for delivering contact form emails. No other third party receives your data.
6. International transfers
Vercel Inc. and Resend Inc. are US-based companies. Data passes through their infrastructure as part of the technical operation of the site and form. These transfers are governed by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and each provider's compliance commitments. Vercel's primary hosting region for this site is in the European Union (Frankfurt).
7. Retention
Messages received via the contact form are kept in our mailbox for as long as needed to process your request, then archived or deleted according to our internal document management practices. You may request deletion of your data at any time.
8. Your rights
Under the nLPD, you have rights of access, rectification, deletion, portability, objection, and restriction of processing of your data. To exercise these rights, write to us at contact@carebond.ch describing the nature of your request. You may also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
9. Security
The site uses TLS 1.3 to encrypt exchanges between your browser and our servers. Form data travels end-to-end encrypted between your device, the Vercel infrastructure, and the final inbox.
10. Cookies and trackers
This site currently uses no audience measurement or marketing cookies. Only strictly necessary cookies (for example, language preference) may be set. See our cookie policy for details.
11. Changes
This policy may be updated to reflect technical, legal, or organizational changes. The last-updated date is shown at the top of this page.
